Revell London Bus (Routemaster)
Posted by Wilbur Wright on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 4:41 PM

Hi Guys, This is my Revell 1/24th scale London Routemaster Bus. This is the classic model London Bus. It has been replaced on all routes except one (for nostalgia) as of 2015.

This is an exceptional model of a very unique subject. I would say my model is about 95% finished, save the install of the windows.  I'll post more photos when finished completely. It looks like the engine hood popped up when I took that photo.  Here are some for now.

I have kind of stalled out on mine.  Maybe your post is the inspiration I need to get back to work on it.

I know what you mean Don, I started this in the Spring of 2012.  I'm not really looking forward to the window install which is going to be tedious, But when you get this far you owe it to yourself.

Same thing with the lifeboats on my big QM2.  You really have to be in the zone to do justice to the model in doing these tedious parts, and realize when you're not and do something else.

Thanks for the pics of a bit unusual subject!  One has to love those British vehicles.
