Thanks Mississippivol-I've been in there a time or two-last time was about 6 months ago-maybe time for another trip over to see if he has added anything.  Next time you're in the Music City, check out Phillips Toy Mart in west Nashville-diverse selection, some mark downs and fair selection of supplies.

It was Hudson Classic Hobbies in Nashville. I almost drove by it, it was that hard to spot. Small selection, but some interesting stuff.

Nice build-always was a Mark Martin fan.

Question-what LHS was it?  For such a large city, I'm finding that there aren't many 'good' LHS to be found-only one I've found so far is Phillips and it is pretty good to be basically a Toy Store.

No, it doesn't, and with the die cast market and licensing fees, I doubt they'll make a huge comeback anytime soon. Most of my builds are from the cars that ran in the '90's, and most of the newer releases are repops of 60's to 70's iron; which isn't necessarily bad.

Looks great.  I'd like to build a current NASCAR, but don't know of any kit for today's cars.  NASCAR sure doesn't have the popularity it did a decade ago!

Howdy. I knocked this out Sunday. Found it in Nashville at a LHS, and thought it would be a good slump-buster. It's also the 12th Mark Martin car I've done. Here it is with a 1988 Tbird that he got back into Cup racing with. Quite a difference twenty years can make....
