1934 Ford Pick Up 1960s Hot Rod

I never intended to build this but once things started going together it just happened.

Lindberg (ex AMT) 34 Ford Pick up. HOK Pavo Purple, HOK Candy Tangerine, HOK Pearl White, Scalefinishes Raven Pearl.

Pontiac 390, headlights and exhaust from the AMT 36 Ford. I couldn't stand the commercial headlights, they messed up the flow of the build. I had to scratch build the headlight mounts and replaced the radiator support rods with styrene rod. Keystone Mags from the AMT 40 Ford Sedan Delivery in Modelhaus big and little whitewall tires. This is how I would build one in 1:1 Scale.

This is the first model I have actually sat down to work on since I hurt myself and have limited use of my right arm. So here it is, its not perfect, but its finished..

Very nice build. Toast  Is that a metallic finish?  It looks airbrushed, correct?  I'd love to have a 1:1 that looked like that.

I keep hitting "escape", but I'm still here.

Jim,
It is indeed a metallic finish, both the black and purple. And it is all airbrushed.

Lots of nice details and classic styling - I like your truck a lot. Hope you get your 1:1!

Not perfect? OK, that's good, cause I'd just have to sit down and cry if it was. Looks great....say did you leave the starter button depressed?----never mind
