MCHALE - thanks for sharing! What can you tell us about that "Mercury" inscription on the hood of the blue one? Do you like it?

Thanks again and have a nice day

Hello!

Sorry to write you that, but I feel that since you post the photos of your models here for people to see, you should care more abouth those models. Like I wrote, that's just how I fell about it. Good luck with your projects and have a nice day

Alright McHale !

Here's a lesson in getting er done ! Do you have one of those lettering machines , or access to one ? If so .The electronic one can print almost to the size you need and neatly too .They have tape that prints in silver letters as well as in the right size ! .Check one out if you can .

The Turquoise ( Blue ?) one looks almost like a 77 , The hood lines are darned near on target ! . Now do mine . Tanker Builder !

Remember - It's dark green Vinyl top , with very light metallic green body .On the blue one you've darned near got it perfect .  T.B. P.P.S. Don't forget the Brougham has the fender edge trim all the way down from front to back and the bottom trim on the rear fender skirt too .Yes, McHale I love them Mercury Broughams too !

If you have a computer you might have a printer. Use a Word program, the kind that offers several fonts in various sizes and type out MARQUIS. Now size it to fit on your model car. Save that and buy some cheap Testors decal paper at Hobby Lobby. Print your logo, then apply it to the car.

Good looking cars by the way. I like them Mercurys. Big Smile

I would advice trying your hand with at least spray can paints. You will achieve a much better finish.
