Honda Colours

Actually, that's a great idea - thanks! I have the car and the code for it, but unfortunately none of the spray-can touch-up paints have that colour. I never thought of a panel beaters. I figure that between the dealer and a panel beater I'll get the paint.
Now, if I can just manage to modify the hatchback model I have to make it a sedan, I'll be fine!

Just take the car to your local Honda Dealership.
They can tell you what color the car is - then go to Auto-Pro or Bursons or some other auto parts store that sells auto paint and have them mix up 500ml of that color. I've done that before - it's easy and it's pretty cost effective. It'll be far more than you need (about a thousand times more) but the upside is if you need to touch up chips or little dents on the full size car, you're in luck. Sometimes, if the car isn't too old, they may have Holts Repli-Color touch up spray cans. The older the car, the less likely they'll have that particular color.
Alternatively, go to a good panel beater and by using a spectrograph analyser (I think that's what they call it) they can color match the paint for you.

I guess you could do that, for the real deal. But what body shop wonder would do this?

Introduce yourself to your local Honda body shop manager and ask if he could allow you to hand him a car body primed and ready to paint color the next time the color is used in the shop. You might luck out and he will agree to fit it in before the gun is cleaned. If luck is with you, a "factory paint job" would be just that!

I did consider getting touch-up paint, but thought if there was an easier way to mix it.... I might have to try that. By the way, it's an Australian car, so the colours might be different from country to country.

oh markiii, how about the color of Honda CIVIC SiR? it's like a metallic orange with a brown or something, i dunno what do they call its color. can you help me out too? thanks

I have worked for Honda and I don't recall that color. My suggestion is to get the touch-up
paint from the dealership and thin it down. I hope this helps.
