Yes !

Find a newspaper with the size letters you want . Then take The Finest silver solder you can get at  "Radio - Shack " and this is your material . Put some waxed paper over the letters that you've cut out from the page .Then take the solder and where you can, shape the bulk of the letter out of one piece .

Cut and add the smaller pieces and then glue them together with the thicker super glue .When you have created the letter and it's dry remove the letter from the waxed paper .Do NOT , twist the paper to remove the letter !

You can take a very light touch of the glue and fasten the letter in place. When you do take a piece of Tamiya tape and create a line to make sure the letters are even .Remember don't use a lot of glue to fasten them in place .When you clearcoat the model the clear will solve the  problem of the letters ever falling off .It just won't happen !
