Sweet toy!  Seriously, mate.....just do a Google search for images:

Porsche 917/10 engine

Porsche 917/10 interior

Porsche 917/10 suspension

The number of fantastic detail pics will probably change your mind about OOB!!!
Scary!  Good luck!

Cheers, LeeTree

Getting one of these for my birthday -

Had one as a kid, built it badly, never built any cars since (I've only ever built 2 cars, an Airfix Jag E-Type, again badly, and one of these).

I plan to build oob as much as possible, it should be a quick weekend build (painting woes notwithstanding), but I'm sure the non chrome grey parts, and some white parts need painting - probably the entire body.

Any tips (paint colours especially)?  How would I paint the "chromed" parts?  Should I?  Do I need to?

Also would anyone happen to know of a walkaround or have pictures of this car - I'm drawing a blank via google re. the Martini livery, some pictures of a L&M livery (decals of which the AMT version of this kit includes) but not many closeups of the car that prove helpful for painting the details and/or the car under the body shell.

Thanks guys.
