Yes, the box top art was rather stricking. Look at the box tops of today and you'll see that they are rather plan Jane sort of speak .
There are some companies that still like to go all out w/ the art and in some cases they use actual pix to decorate they're tops.

Did you know the 1967 Mustang GT models , AMT kits had some of the finest commercial art that has ever graced model kit boxes.Bow [bow]
