S100 Detail and Wax is the brand name. I think I got it at Amazon.

Thanks for all the nice comments! I used Tamiya white primer as first coat, TS-85 Bright Mica Red as the color coat, followed up with TS-13 Clear. In between coats I use 12000 foam pads to remove any dust or blemish. After the clear is dry I spray a little S100 Detail and Wax onto a micro fibre cloth and apply it to the body, kind of like detailing it before putting it in the show. I decant the spray primer and paints and apply them with an airbrush. Hope this helps.

 

What brand is the S100 Detail and Wax and where can it be purchased?? I'd like to try both.

That is a great paint job, well deserved.

I know this thread is somewhat old kenjitak, but if you do see this could you inform as to your paint process for the red?  Did you clear coat after the red and did you compound polish and or wax.

I'm doing the Tamiya LaFerrari up next and I'm somewhat amazed at some of the incredible paint jobs I've seen on  models this small.
