Toothpaste and a cotton ball.  Makes windows like glass.

In reality, Future works GREAT to increase clarity in windshields.  I always leave them to dry (under cover) for a week....many modelers probably think that's longer than necessary - but that's what I do, and it works for me.  I hate fingerprints.

Micro-Mesh also makes an amazing polishing kit for plastic and clear styrene.  That's another option - and it's actually pretty cheap for what you get.

If your bus windows are foggy, you might need to go to another source because the Future might not work - cut your own windows from clear styrene or PETG (the same food grade plastic that drink bottles are made from).  The stuff is great.

Good luck!  And post pics of that bus!!!!!!

Cheers, LeeTree

For me, it depends on how good the kit windshield looks untreated, and the effect I want. If it is supposed to be a custom or show car, I may future the windshield.  If it is a race caer, or particularly a rally car, or a beater, or any weathered car, I do not.

I do the windshields in Future the same as my canopies. Has worked OK for me.

Windshields dipped in Future?

Do auto and truck modelers generally dip their windshields and clear parts in Future, like aircraft modelers do to canopies?

If not,  do you have any tips for polishing?

I've decided it's time to finally finish my Revell London Bus which has a LOT of windows to glue in, and I noticed the clear plastic is very slightly foggy.  Not bad but not like my aircraft canopies that are dipped.

Thanks for any suggestions.
