Thanks for your comments Don. Well as I'm in the UK, any Nascar kits are very scarce!

Very nice!  Gee, it has been a long time since I built a NASCAR truck.  How available are the kits now?

Thanks mississippivol, I've been trying to work out how to do it. I've another cheapy Nascar car on it's way from ebay UK. It's part built so I can try to modify the suspension on that one.

Thanks again.

Hey, Pat, I have an idea for the front ride height. Take the front wheels off, then make the mounting holes on the wheels off-center so the axle attaches to the lower part on the wheel. It's kind of cheating, but it's quick.

Built Box Stock but decals old and crusty, although I did prise a few off of the backing, by firstly giving the decal sheet 2 coats of gloss clear. Then soaking in near boiling water and getting a craft blade between the decal and paper and sliding the decal away!

As the kit decals were in short order, I found others in my collection to add to the build.

Although I checked the build plan and mounting points the front end sits up a bit too much.

Hopefully I can find another truck kit like this and look see how I can lower the front a bit, so it looks like a race car!
