Thank you.
I just went through my stash and found the exactly same bike but in 1:10 and it's a Poilice edition.
It is half built by my brother when he was 10-11 I think.
Yeah that paint and clear coat look smooth. Good work.
Anyone with a good car don't need to be justified - Hazel Motes
My buddy who owns a Harley wanted me to build it, so I gave it a try. I built a car for him about 10 years ago, and before then, I haven't built anything since I was 15.
First time using a proper airbrush, first time building a bike.
Used Modelmaster enamel and Gloss. I tried to sand and polish the test piece but didn't turn out, so left it as it is. No primer used, but I washed with dish soap.
Built this tiny pocket bike first. The kit is from 1992, I was afriad of the decal breaking up, but it held. I remember building a Hasegawa 1/48 F-4 Phantom when I was 13-14, and the decal completely broke apart when I dunked in water.
Started with airbrusing for 2 hours. This piece came out great. I still learn to practice my trigger pressure. My 20 year old Tamiya clear enamel still worked!! Had to pour in some thinner couple days prior, because it was pretty thick. Nothing too proud. Just a straight build, no shading, no modification. The kit isn't that great. I don't know why there's a big gap in the middle of the fuel tank. and the instruction for the rubber hose was very basic. I had to refer to the real pics of the bike or guess. Thanks for looking!
