'32 Ford Fooler

Produced by Lindberg many moons ago, I was lucky to pick one up on ebayUK for a song. The kit decals which were only four were in bits in the box, so off to my stash for replacements. The instructions to me were quite comical as it spoke about preparing chrome parts, none of which were in the kit, not one!

I painted the shell Tamiya Metalic Green, the chassis black and various other parts silver. Whilst building up the chassis I found that the two radius rods were too short so made new ones from very small plastic tube. I also opted for the road exhaust of the three available and added alloy tube extensions out back. I also added yellow Dunlop tyre decals to continue a period look.

Without the engine cover, what there is of it! Plus alloy tube for the carb intakes............

looks great!! My only (minor) criticism would be that you should have removed the mold seam on the tires and sanded them down to simulate wear. Other than that, looks killer! You did a fine job. Rudy

Thanks guys for your comments.

Yes, when there are plastic tyres that need sticking together I must remember to sand them down before painting.
