Yes mississippivol you get the loony driving it in about 6 pieces! But I now have to learn how to paint a figure however crazy he looks! I have tried a dark brown for the body but I thought it too dark, my wife says it's about right! I also have to learn how to paint the one eye you see!

Photo supplied by a previous builder.

Those things are fun, aren't they?  And quick builds, too, unless you start adding details.  Nice work on the tanned and buff surfer dude!

Thanks Gene I asked another builder to supply that photo as I don't paint bodies! But you can judge for yourself later!

Update..........Well.........because the chassis and everything else is askew, not square, I've had to shave off and bend the floor to fit. Then you have the problem of the tailgate not fitting, but guess what...............it did!

and a tattoo and copper wire earing for our surfer dude...........

and afew flames and ally tube to finish the exhaust..........

and the horn and rear light................

Hopefully some more tomorrow.

Thanks PANZERJAGER, yes a really super fun build. I've kept the box top and put it on the wall in my workspace/cabin.

I picked up the whole six kit collection of these for something like 30 bucks on amazon, I have built the beach bunny so far, as my daughter asked me to build her a model...because I am always building aircraft and such for my son's room (he's older).  I haven't gotten any further than that one though...

My only criticism would be the brown you used for the surfer dude....he almost looks like those lawn jockeys...but I saw that you aren't much of a people painter, so I can totally understand.  It looks great, though, and I love the base!

Thanks Justinryan215, for your comments, yes the sun tan is too dark but we don't have any model shops around here. I can only buy model stuff on the net and wanted to finish it off.
