Relax Steve!  It's ok, all will be fine!  You can either start another project or catalog the ideas for later and finish the ones you have going now.

Since it is raining out and the paintbooth is full of parts to be painted (its also my photobooth), I took a few final pictures on the bench.

This morning I took my Spenser's Mustang GT apart and removed the headlights.  While the headlights were out, I took my Molotow Liquid Chrome Pen and chromed the Mustang emblem on the grille.

I removed the silver paint from the lenses, applied a coating of Tamiya X-22 Gloss Clear and installed the headlight picture.

I applied a coating of Gloss Clear to the outside of the lenses and when the clear has dried I'll install the lenses into the body.

More to come...

Thank you Tank Builder and Mopar Madness!  Every once in a while, I feel the need to build a snap kit and it usually becomes an involved project with extra detailing and some extra parts.  I'm really happy with this build!

I got into a discussion with a fellow about Ford Mustangs one evening and he finally said, "Someone ought to build a modern Spenser Mustang."  He was referring to the Spenser For Hire TV series that he knew that I am a fan of.  I took that as a challenge and sought out a Revell 2015 Ford Mustang GT kit.  My grandson had built one two years ago and has long since stopped playing with it, so I took it apart, cleaned it, primered it with Tamiya Fine Surface Primer and painted it with Model Master Fathom Green Metallic body and Testors One Coat Lacquer Wet Look Clear. and Tamiya TS-29 Semi-Gloss Black interior.  I lowered the suspension, added rear view side mirrors, painted the wheels with Alclad II Chrome paint over the flat black wheels, aluminium tubing for exhaust tips, and added license plates used on the '65 Ford Mustang in the TV series printed by me on my printer.
