Thank you Gary!  I remember Sanders Assoc. and they are now long gone.  After being bought out by several other contractors over the years, they are now BAE.  Still a big outfit in the area.

Nice job, Mr. Mike!

I see that you live in Nashua, NH. I used to work on some DECM equipment built up there by Sanders Associates (defense contractor) that was used (and probably still is) on the Harriers, A-4s, A-6s, EA-6Bs, and maybe a few other aircraft. Got to go up there a couple of times for conferences and advisory stuff back in the late '80s. Beautiful country in that neck of the woods.

Thanks everyone!

Greg, Memphis Beat was a short lived TV series on TNT a few years ago.  It was filmed in New Orleans, La., but as the show title says, it took place in Memphis, Tn.  It was light on action and acting.  For the pilot, actor Jason Lee's personal '64 GTO was used for filming and with all the extra equipment used for the production, the car was trashed and required about 5 months to repair all the damage.  The series was cancelled after the second season.  I liked the show at first, but after a while, it became lame.  After the cancellation, my model sat on the shelf for several years and it was either put it away or rebuild it and correct the flaws in the build.  The end result speaks for itself!

Verrry tasty there, Mr. Mike. Don't recall the TV series, but the Pontiac's a stunner!

This is my Monogram '64 Pontiac GTO painted with Tamiya TS-58 Pearl Light Blue with a Model Master #28145 Silver Blue Metallic interior.  I originally built this many years ago as the car from TNT's Memphis Beat TV show starring Jason Lee.  The show was cancelled just as I had finished building this kit.  I rebuilt the GTO to fix a couple of errors I knew about and to have a better looking model.
