Bought this from my favourite source Ebay UK, for a small sum. Opening the box I noticed that the chrome parts were in the sealed bag with all of the other sprues except the windows and tyres. Being a bit scratched and dull I painted all but the windscreen frame that was still shiny chrome, with clear red acrylic, to give it an 'anodised' look. I also added a few more colourful flame decals from my stash of Meyers Manx builds.

Thanks Dave. My son's raced BMX 30 years ago and a lot of wheel rims, handlebars were anodised so I thought I'd try it on models. Just paint a clear acrylic onto bare chrome and hey presto!
