Looks great - as soon as I saw 421 I went here :)
Thanks,
John
Really nice looking model! I love the color. I always thought that the 62's were great looking cars.
Your comments and questions are always welcome.

Ask me about Speedway Decals
I still need to get the front bumper on, but I think she is close enough for pics. I just finsihed this AMT 1962 Pontiac Catalina 421 SD, I built it as a gift for my aunt. She loves these big Pontiacs. The color is Metallic Gold (same color used for interior) with "stoplight Red" sprayed as the top coat. When I sprayed the Clear, it seemed to react badly and sort of "marble" the paint in spots like the trunk and lower passenger side, but oh well. This is the second car I have tried to use Bare Metal Foil on. I wired the engine, and used an AMT Tire pack for the slicks, and had to order some replacement wheels from Scenes Unlimited to replace the kit wheels that had been carelessly yanked from the parts tree, taking huge chunks out of them.... I must say, the kit engine was a super-nice piece, complete with fuel pump and fuel lines.....
Thanks!
