Thanks mmthrax. Yes your right we always think a bit beyond of what we see on the box art. I always Google image research what I would see as the real 1:1 car, then add the details/refinements of what you see in research to the model!

Hello Pat,

That is fantastic!  I just built the cartoon 33 Willys with the same stance and I was wondering how to recreate the box art.  That is really awesome what you did.  Outside of the box thinking at its best.  Bravo.  I love it!!

One of my two Christmas presents from my wife.................

I will need quite a while to perfect exhaust flames, but on this one I found side flame decals and laid them up on clear plastic sheet (food carton)...........

As no decals came with the kit I added these from my spares.
