I also checked to see about deleting posts, and seems there has been discussion about that already and that it cannot be done (saw your own advice there - so I have edited the name of this thread). 

Posting pictures to FSM forum posts is not, really,  that easy.  However, among the various forums here is a help forum. It is down aways, well below the Model Subjects area.  It is in a section of the forum called Feedback, Help, and Testing.  The particular forum you want is the Forum Technical Assistance.  I'll try a direct link

I tried editing it - initially the pictures showed but when I edited (added some text) - they all disappeared. 

Only way to fix was to start over and I can’t seem to delete this post!

No no just keep editing this one. I built a model of thet thing once, want to remember it was a Revell or Monogram, largish scale.
