Finally getting around to putting my shelves up this weekend.  These are a few I pulled out of the box and dusted off.

Thanks,

Wow! Richie Ginther's F1 Honda! You've got some great stuff there!

OK. In the stash: Way too much to build in one lifetime...

Thanks all.  The Honda RA-272 is the 1/20 Tamiya kit.  I also did the Lotus 25 Coventry Climax (same scale Tamiya kit).  These are great kits.

I posted this when I finished it last year

Thanks,

John

I really like the cars from that era - but it was clearly the most dangerous.

Thanks Rich.   Its fun to do a car model now and then.  I mostly build airplanes  and its quite a departure from the camo and gull gray.

Thanks,

John

The Tamiya 1/20 F1 cars are great kits.  I've got their Tyrrell P34 6-wheeler that I built as Depailler's car from the '76 Monaco GP, and a McLaren MP4/8 partially built up that I was making into Senna's car as it ran in some specific race that I don't recall ATM (it's been awhile).

Aesthetically, the mid to late '60s is my favourite era of F1; when the engines were bumped up to 3 liters (from 1.5L) but before the cars started started sprouting wings.  That's what a race car should look like.

What kits are the Corvette and GT40?

Great work on all of them. I also love the older Grand Prix cars.

Thanks all.

The Gt40 was Fujimi.  The Corvette Grand Sport was Accurate Miniatures.

Hello keavdog,

I meant to imply no sarcasm, only that the vehicles on display were really cool.  I didn't even notice the background actually.  Smile  Really nice builds.

Best regards,

Mark
