Thanks for the info T.B.-checked ebay and you are correct-very expensive-then checked Google-found a resin body that may make it feasible

Hope this helps Bill.

Hi;

 Seems to me there was a kit by REVELL back in the late 70s early 80s that was the Mustang Grande . It came with the vinyl roof molded on and all the rest . Hard to find .Get ready to pay some bucks for it . If you can find one .

 I am truly sorry that I am the bearer of bad news. T.B.

Hi,

This link talks about Mustang kits from that era, so it might have some info that could be of use to you.

Bill-I had to do a Google search to see what the Grande option was-looks like the body was a notchback rather than a fastback.  All of the kits I'm familiar-Revell, Monogram, AMT & MPC-are all fastbacks.

I'm not an expert by any means-hopefully someone here will have a source for a kit or for a resin body.

Good luck-it's a nice thing you are wanting to do.

Hello;

Anyone know if there is a kit available of this Mustang.

I am not a car modler but would like to build this for a friend

of mine whose dad had one and is no longer with us.

Any help would be appreciated.
