Tamiya Porsche 911 GT2

The kit is a road going version which I've modified to a race car. I've added decals from my spares box, added alloy exhaust tips, cut down Nascar window net, and front and rear tow eyes.

The main sponsor is Apple Petronas Lubricants/Fields, with minor sponsors decals on the doors and body including various model kit manufacturers.

The kit has a very basic engine top moulding...

Very cool.  Did you build the cage?

Thanks,

John

Thanks keavdog. Yes the cage comes with the kit, as does another sprue with race seat, two extinguishers, rear wing extensions, so, easy to use in the conversion.

That looks great! I like the nod to model companies.

Thanks UnwaryPaladin. Yes the model company decal sheets always show their name on the bottom of each kit sheet. I'd thrown them away for years and then realised why don't I use those as well on the builds!
