Thank you, Goldhammer.

Fortunately I have some clear pieces to experiment with first.  You can see the glass is dark with a slight green tint.  I'll try the black from the back.

Thanks for the note on the clear adhesive, I'll see if I can find that locally.

As for the tint, try a soft mask, then airbrush some Tamiya smoke to the darkness you want.  Seems like it would work for "privacy" glass as well.

For a greenish tint, might darken a clear green with some smoke, have to play with that.

The black edging could be done with either a sharpie or paint from the back side, with a hard mask.

I would dip in future first, just in case you don't like the result, might have a chance to clean off and save the window.

Try it on an old canopy or some clear styrene first.

Then you can glue it in with a clear parts adhesive (I like Pace Formula 560)

If you have any chrome, try one of the chrome pens that are out, they're great. .

First Time Car Builder with Window Tint, Edge and Font Questions

Hello Everyone.

Can anyone help me with the best way to reproduce this window tint?  Also, what is a good way to apply the black that is on the glass surrounding the windows?  Are these applications best before or after Future.  And finally, can anyone help where I might find this GT font so I can create it for a decal?  I'm building the MPC 1985 Fiero GT and Monogram 1988 Fiero GT.  Thank you!
