Hope to see one of these on my bench, and hope it turns out as cool. The lime green makes me think of the Kustoms of the '60's.

To rangerj and anyone else interested, I recall that the "hot" aftermarket heads for Ford & Mercury flatheads were made by Ardun and Weiand. Don't know if either are the ones you're talking about.

Model on!

Thanks rangerj

This was the kit with various engine options............

I just left off the chrome and added the mercury bumpers.

Was the model a Tudor Delux and did you shave off the chrome? It looks like the motor is a Flat head V-8 with three single bbl carbs. That was a popular set up in the early days of hot rodding. Offenhouser and Edlebrach made heads and intake manifolds, and there was a popular set of heads made in New York that are highly sought after today (can't remember the name at the moment, anyone). Beautiful job.

Thanks guys. Yes that's the problem about the woody, perhaps I'll have to find another Tudor and 'woody' it!

I like it !

Kinda torn though..... Would have looked good as a Woody too.

Dont worry about the thumbprint, paint it Rust , and call it "Battle Damage"

Thanks PFJN. I initially thought to woody the white section but after spraying the Tamiya Candy Lime Green on and removing the masking I left it as a two-tone.
