Cheers Jim. Yes my home printed woody decal looks OK. I've also put coffee stirers on the tipper bed, alloy tube on the exhaust and on the extended hydraulic ram.

Taking an idea on one of the many web sites I see, I bought an acrylic white paint pen and white walled the tyres. Although I see that the driver has already scuffed one of the rear tyres!

It's "out of the ordinary", and totally COOL !

Dont worry about the thumbprint, paint it Rust , and call it "Battle Damage"

Thanks littletimmy. Yes I like to 'alter' things a bit! What white walls on a truck? Why not!

Very nice!  Is that a kit, and if so, whose?

Thanks Don, yes it's a plastic kit in 1/24 scale by Emhar.....

They also do the long wheelbase shown on the box and some tankers.

I see trucks scraping their tires on those cement lined islands at Lowes all the time. Wink That's what all those black marks on the cement are from.

Oh, almost forgot, my wife put a coupe of them there too. Also a good scrape in the piece under the door. I told her it was OK because it matched the one she put on the other side.Whistling

If I owned that truck I'd put old school commercial wheels and whitewalls on it - very cool model Pat!

Happy Holidays!

Very nice Pat, I like the kit, your choice of colors, and your build.

Wow, that is one nice truck.  Would be proud to park it in my driveway, especially since it has my name on it.  However, I would never overload it as shown in the photo; waaaaaayyy too much rock on that rig.  OSHA is going to pull you over and put you under the jail! Smile

Thanks Ben. Yes Jack your dead right the Health and Safety and Road Transport Ministry will have me by the throat for overloading!
