That's an AMAZING idea. I never even would have thought of that! I already ordered a resin part but maybe I'll save that and give the toothbrush idea a shot! That plus a bit of styrene for the base and plenty of careful sanding should result in a perfect safety light! Thanks!

1:25 Work Truck Safety Light? (need help)

Hi guys, Ive been working on converting a fairly basic 1:25 scale pick up truck kit I have on my shelf into a replica of one of the pick ups we use at work. For the most part it's going to be fairly easy to scratch build the things that will be going in the bed of the truck. But I'm struggling to find a 1:25 scale amber (orange) safety light for the top of the truck. We use the small amber bar style lights, not the old school "can lights" I've managed to find in random kits from time to time.

Can anyone help point me towards an aftermarket part, or even a whole kit I could buy to loot the light off the top of it? I've added a picture to the post to give you guys an idea of what I'm looking for.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
