Paint by Plasti-Kote, Humbrol and Revell. Decals from stash. Alloy tubing. Surfboards from collection. Windscreen decals from Rat Fink. Palm Trees from Nail Art.

Another winner, Pat! Yes

(A too-quick glance at those palm trees...and at first I thought you had Afrika Korps markings on her!)

If you don't mind the question, what color did you use for the body? It looks like a perfect match for the Roland Leong 'Hawaiian' Funny Car I'm getting ready to do.

Cheers

Greg

Thanks gregbale. The paint is Plasti-Kote spray can 135S Metalic Blue. Oh when this kit was delivered (ebay purchase) there was another of the same,  60% built but bare, no paint, try painting an engine when it's already installed!

Okay, good, I'm not the only one that saw Afrika Korps trees at first glance.  Pretty blue, that!

Thanks LonCray. The Palm Trees are womens finger nail art not Africa Korps.

Nice truck. Do I see metal flake in that blue paint? I can see it is called metallic, but I can't remember if that automatically means metal flake, been too many years for me.

Thanks Greg. Well on firstly using and older can of the blue the metal flakes were flying around the spray booth as the rattle can ran out!
