I was sent this to save................
So added yellow paint(to contrast the black already on it)seats, exhausts, wheels/tyres, sun visor, and as my stash of V8's are too big, I scratchbuilt a bonnet and sides, and moved the headlights to the top of the front wings..
Remember , common sense is not common.
What an improvement! That yellow really pops. What is in the bed?
Thanks,
John
A - L - R - I - G - H - T!!!!!!!! Very nice.

I keep hitting "escape", but I'm still here.
Thanks guys. Well in the Pick-Up bed? When we had glass delivered for my cabin and a greenhouse all of the sheets of glass have sticky green rubber pads between each one to try and stop breakages.
So I peeled them off and kept them for another day, that was about 7 years ago and the day came today.
See that! And the wives say we collect stuff that's not good for anything.
Yes Jim your dead right! I'm buying more of these 'already started' firstly because the price of new kits is prohibitive/expensive and we shouldn't chuck things away that can turn out OK in the right hands, all we need is more imagination to take that risk, if that's the word!
Nice!

Thanks Lee.
It's great but it deserves an engine lol ! Fitting ( in more ways than one if you want the side panels in tact) would be a hot rod flathead with aluminum heads and twin carbs, maybe from a later Ford kit or Merc. Someone on the forum I bet has one.
Course that's my view and it's your model ! Looks great anyway.
Thanks oldermodelguy, your dead right, but we don't see many older American car kits here in the UK and to import them costs around $27!
Luckily the guy who sent me the unfinished/parts of kit is in the UK.
Well it will remain a " looker" for now then.
Yes oldermodelguy.
