Javelin Very informative. I’ve been using brake fluid for paint stripping. I would like to try that white wall cleaner on lacquer finishies . Well many thanks for posting ,btw nice smooth paint jobYesYes ..

Thank you! Brake fluid works great on metal and some newer plastics, but it can be too harsh on older or brittle stuff. The Bleche-Wite takes a lot longer, but it is so gentle that you never have to worry about harm.

I'm pretty happy with the paint job, especially considering it's automotive rattle-can sprayed in a cardboard box.

GMorrison

Post a link to your video, not the file itself.

Is it on youtube?

Yes, it is on YouTube. I fixed the video to a link now, sorry about that!

Nice work! Yes Yes Yes

That jewel-like paint job is definitely eye-catching...but the whitewalls really 'seal the deal!' A very impressive project, overall.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

Hello all!

I've been an SAE and FSM subscriber since the early 90's as a kid and love building all kinds of models. My favorite might be restoring old built-ups though, as I am a huge AMC fan but can't stomach paying huge prices for vintage kits just to build them. I got a JoHan 1960 Plymouth Fury in a lot a couple of months ago and have been working on restoring it on camera. Here's the video, I hope you enjoy it!
