Top isn't glued yet but the windows are in. Did the frames with a Sharpie - mixed feelings about that. For those that may build this down the road - be sure to put the body decals on before the spare tire hinges!!!!!! AHHHHH GRRRR - will take lots of solvaset and creativity to fix.

Yes, I did use BMF for the side trim on the body.
So she's glued together - had a hard time getting the front locating pins and the radiator and shroud in but eventually sealed her up. Got the grill on and need to do a bunch of touch up in the engine bay as I had a few colors bleed - hate red on black, hate yellow on black. I'll clean it up but here's tonights work:
Looking good. I left my strip body color. Lazy I guess lol. You did yor windshield the smart way! I glued mine on before painting then found out it's far more difficult to get the windiw in that way!

Looking good. I just wish revell had done it straight stock. Exhaust is easy, I did it on mine, ride height and 4 shock setup not so much. I left that as is, a day 2 vehicle.
This is coming along nicely. It looks very good. As far as the tires? It's an old off roaders trick to reverse the tread pattern for maximum grip on bad trails. Real bad idea on the street though.
I saw your build Mike and it made me order this kit. Pretty nice kit. Comming along. I wish Tamiya bottle semi-gloss black exactly matched spray can Tamiya semi-gloss black. Close, but the bottle is glossyer (sp?). Anyhow - rolling chasis. On to the interior/body. Fixed the front tire tread orientation after looking at the pic :)

I used the kit tires with wheel and wheel covers from the Moebius 1972 Ford F100 Sport Custom. The tires were a tight fit over the Moebius wheels, but they do look good!
I love old Broncos. I have the Baja version of this in the stash. Looking forward to seeing more. So far, it looks very nice.

I've always been a huge fan of the Bronco. Back when I was studying for my amateur radio license a friend of my fathers would pick us up in his Bronco to go to tech classes way back when I was 12 or 13. So when I saw this kit I jumped on it. This is clearly a newer mold as the assembly and fit is really fantastic. Also, the mold detail is amazing - resin like details in some cases. Anyhow - got started and thought I'd share.
