1/25 Grain Hauler Trailer
Posted by SMH on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 7:14 PM

I've just about wore out the net looking for a 1/25 grain hauler trailer. I've found plenty HO scale but no 1/25.

So if someone could point me inthe right direction in finding one I'd appreciate it.

Hello!

I'm afraid you have to build one yourself... You take the chassis from an AMT kit if it is to be American and from Italeri if it is to be European. Then a lot of plastic plate for the top...

Could you post a picture what it is supposed to look like?

Funny thing, trailers are so much harder to get than the tractors for them. Around 2008 there were hardly any trailers to be had, fortunately around 2010 AMT reissued their trailers, that helped a little.

Good luck with your projects and have a nice day

According to Scalemates just about every trailer ever made was turned into a model except a grain hauler. LoL

Hello!

How about taking this one:

And cutting it down? Note it's "beaded panel" - so at least the sides could look OK for your application.

Good luck with it, have a nice day
