Revell '40 Ford Coupe--sweet kit

Hi all. I haven't been here in a while. been playing kustombuilder1 over at SA.

Any ways, this topic is about the Revell '40 Ford Standard Coupe, and how good Krylon Fusion can be. It was the first time I've used Fusion.

The Revell '40 Ford Standard Coupe is a wonderful kit. It's a dream to build. Everything fits, flash is almost unheard of, and I didn't realize until I was almost finished it's a skill level 3 kit.

It is finished in Krylon Fusion #2324 Hunter Green over Dupli-color's # DAP 1699 primer-sealer. These photos are unretouched in any way. This car has NOT been polished. No kidding. I only used a damp rag to wipe off my fingerprints. The Fusion went on smooth as glass.

I would recomend this kit and Krylon Fusion to anyone! Thanks for lookingBig Smile [:D]

That looks great. I might have to break down and try the fusion myself. You are right about that kit. It was a great build. Of coarse mine came out on the other end of the spectrum from yours. Mine was all dirty and banged up all nicely. Thanks for showing what Fusion can do.

Big sigh!!!
If only my modelcars could turn out that way without all that polishing I'm doing today. Great looking model by the way Thumbs Up [tup] I love the look and stance of the 40's era.

WOW, very nice darrin. i can also attest to the fusion. it's what i use on my fire trucks and stuff. i love it, since i'm no painting guru, it makes it easy to have a great paint job.
