Happy Monday (well, at least it will start heading in that direction once the coffee kicks in!) I finished this quick (two) Weekend build this weekend. It probably would have been a one weekend build, but I decided to paint it in Candy Poison Green...
The kit is Moebius Models' Von Franco's Eye Gone Wild. It was an extremely simple kit, which is sort of why i decided to put a candy paint job on it. The paint is Army Painter black primer/base, with Vallejo Metal Air Gold as a ground coat. I then gave it a color coat of AutoAir Colors Candy2.0 Poisin Green mixed into their Intermediate cleabase. I followed (roughly) the manufacturer's direction of about 20 percent candy into the intercoat clear. I think I could have gone a little heavier, as it took clost to 15-20 coats to achieve the color I was envisioning...
