All -
I've recently gotten back into modeling muscle cars, skills are decent, not great. How do you guys paint sharp detail on car bodies like turn signals? I've been doing then free hand with a fine brush, and then dry prushing the silver trim around the bezel. Results are ok, but there's got to be a better way to get sharper lines, with fewer head aches. Some on the parts are too small to efectively mask, for me anyway. Funny don't seem to have the same problem with the engines?
Also, I've had great luck using silver paint markers for things like the chrome window, look pretty good and faster than bare metral foil.
Any suggestions welcome.
BTW - for Aircraft, the www.Aircraftresourcecenter.com is a great reference, do we have a similar site, besides this one, or course :D.
Thanks !!!
Archer out.
