Hi;

     How many of you have noticed that some " Pony" cars Don't really resemble their Classic counterparts? I mean look at the product thet G.M. has. It's contoured from the side to resemble the older cars. Maybe a little from behind. I don't think the front Mirrors any I ever saw. Plus there's no Pontiac " Pony" car !

    Now take Chrysler. Yep, the Challenger and Cuda do bear a resemblance to the past that is much purer. What looks wrong though is the mass of body color in the front and back where Bumpers used to be. It makes them look heavy.

      I took a new model and did an experiment. In the areas wher Bumpers used to reside, I foil Chromed that area to look like the Bumpers of old ( 1972) The contours are there! Jumpin Jehosephat! It looked just like it's 70s counterpart. Just a thought !

Hey, TB. You missed the Mustang. In any incarnation, the Mustang is still the original. Even though current styling is more European, the look is still unmistakable. It's still a Mustang!

OK. In the stash: Way too much to build in one lifetime...
