I have never airbrushed a car before. Is a 17ml bottle enough for the average 1/25 body? John

I think that should be enough. I usually buy two of the smaller   Mr. Color bottles which are 10 oz I think. You will be adding thinner to the paint each time too so I think that should be enough for you to put 3 or 4 coats on. With that said I'm always paranoid of running out of paint in case something goes wrong or you need touch-ups and would buy an extra bottle just in case.

Depends on how many coats you put on. If just a couple, one of those  small bootles should do it.  That does not include the primer, of course.  If you seek the perfect finish and put a dozen or more color coats, then you may need more.
