Thanks for the kind words. The color  is Tamiya Purple, TS-24. The battey wiring is molded onto the battery. I used a mud colored wash on the battery and then painted the two wires black and red. Then I painted the clamps silver.

Awesome!  Man what color purple is that???  Engine bay looks great - didyou wire the battery or is that molded in?  Either way looks great.  Nice job.

When I started this build I thought that I could finish it in a few days. WRONG. This kit is almost 30 years old and it has fit issues that extend the build time; exhaust header attachment, bumper attachment, and wheel/axle attachment. Anyway, it's finished.
