Might this be the vehicle you're building?

Probably an older release but hopeully close.

Same thing when I built mine a few years ago. I had never remembered encountering that before, even building a few other AMT truck kits back in the '70s-'80s.

I don't recall any huge problems figuring out the build sequence. More troubling were the huge slightly mis-matched seams to be removed from virtually every part.

It was a lot of 'drudge' work, but it built up pretty nicely in the end with some home-made Chicago Streets & Sanitation decals.

Hello; I just purchaced the AMT Snow Plow truck model and just noticed that the parts on the sprues are all numbered but none of the parts on the instructions are numbered!!! All they have is a sequence that the parts are to be put together in and which ones are chromed! I am fine with the obviuos bigger parts like engine blocks, heads, and frame rails but I am not sure with the tiny parts.I guess when it comes to the tiny little parts I will have to go through every little tiny part on the sprues to try and find a part that looks like the part in the instructions!!! I am sure when I built the AMT Mack truck and the AMT Logging trailer ( I used to drive one)  they were all numbered. Am I wrong or were they not numbered either? Any idea why they would not number the parts on the instructions? Just had to vent to someone.LOL
