I posted a bumper fit fix for this kit last month and thought I'd post a few pics of the finished build. I copied the color scheme I saw another modeler built and posted for this same kit on that "other auto modeling forum" (which I can never seem to post on...). Seacrest green (light) over Jadestone green (dark), I used Scalefinishes paint for both. Besides the front bumper fit issue, I also had challenges with the front and rear window fit (the rear's still not quite right), otherwise this kit is a joy to build. The eight bolt wheel assemblies have been criticized for being inaccurate (center hub should protrude outboard more?) but they seem "good enough" to me. I love these early '60's Bill Mitchell GM designs, they still look futuristic to my old eyes. Wish Moebius could do a matching '61 Olds and Buick bubbletops that I could park next to this one. Cheers, John
Very sharp. Beautiful paint/color and I love the brightwork.
Thanks,
John
You've got a steady hand - the detail painting is so clean. Beautiful all the way around!
What a beautifully built model in all respects.
I love the clean crisp foil application.
The entire model is so cleanly built, with such beautiful detailing inside and out.
Those 8 bolt wheels you mentioned are stunning in person.
I had a set on my 1 to 1 1960 Ventura many years ago.

Extremely well done.
