Scale Auto Magazine engine information

Several years back, Scale Auto did a 3 part feature about various model car engines and which kit they came from in 1/25 (and/or 1/24th scale). At the time, I collected all 3 magazines so my reference library was complete. After a few relocations of my hobby stuff, those issues are now lost. Does anyone know where to resource this information? Quite possibly, the 3 part volume was put together by Tim Boyd(?) Thanks for your input!
