Beautiful job. I'm using the same kit to make a Grand Sport. Doing a lot of scratchbuilding to get there.

Thanks for correcting my false assumption on the color, "Autumn Gold Poly" was an option. In gold or bronze, your build is a real beauty. Makes me want to find and build one of these old kits.

Thanks. It's gold, and I custom mixed it, and it is a factory color. My camera photographs dark for some reason. saddle tan. when you look at my model in person, t's dead on, but both my tablet and phone cameras photograph it quite a bit darker than it is.

Great job painting and detailing the one-piece tub interior (a feature that has kept me away from this kit). I also love the bronze color, not factory original but very period appropriate.

This C2 styling is still strikingly beautiful to me. I remember the first C2 I ever saw was a Tuxedo Black coupe that was premiered in the showroom of Parkwood Chevrolet in Lakewood CA in Fall of '62 (I was 9). A few hundred people were there on a Friday night and they let each kid take home a brochure. Nearly 60 yrs later, I still want that car.

Man, Mike and John commented on the two things that stood out for me. The paint color and that trademark split rear window.

Those two guys obviously have great commenting skills. Stick out tongue

Another real nice one, Lee. YesYes
