Nice and clean, very well done.

 

Looking at it, I can see a kind of reverse "T" bucket.  VW engine exposed and the nose just about like this one.  I might try something like that with a VW kit I have.

 Funny you should post this. I just got finished reading the History of the bug and how to restore them. They had a few good photos of both the Hebmuller cars and the old original " Bug Eyed" V.Ws.

Amazing how a fenderless VW can be turned into a hammered street rod and look so good. I'm amazed there weren't a lot of these on the streets in the 50's -'60's.

I've been obsessed with building classic drag cars lately. Your beautiful builds are inspiring me to take a break and attempt a simple mild early custom....an unbuilt Revell '50 Olds is calling to me from my stash....

I did a couple of simple cars not long ago, that didn't take much time, but they were really fun.

It was nice to take a break from the more complicated stuff.
