Distressed car interior

Anyone know of a good how-to video/web page for distressing a car's interior?  I am thinking ripped seats and such.

TIA

Tissue paper like Kleenex is a good medium for that kind of thing.  Put shreds in it, dip it in half/half mixture of white glue and water.  Stick it on seats and side panels and work shredded areas with tweezers, then let it dry.

AK Interactive has books about distressing models. Have a look at their website. I think that there is a publication devoted to weathering that might be worth looking at, but don't know who publishes it. There has been the odd article or two in both FSM and Scale Auto in the past.

I second Don's suggestion.

Facial tissue is great for this since you can tear it to give very natural-looking 'shredded' edges.

(Works great for clothing and uniforms as well as upholstery!)
