Tamiya 1/12 Suzuki RGV-T XR-89 (14081) Finished.

A while since my last post, been busy remodeling my model-shed to make a "display" area so I don't have to keep dusting the models! Just need some lighting for the top shelf:

So last week I started tinkering with this model, never did any WIP so here it is all done. Painted all in Tamiya acrylics - except exhausts which got the Alclad treatment. Enjoyed the last bike I built a few months ago so daughter got me this for my birthday last month. Been sitting on the side for a while so thought it was about time to get her done :)

Didn't read instructions carefully enough and put the Michelin decal on before the main Suzuki one and so now have a white box with the decal underneath it! Doh!!

Stay safe........Steve

Oho!

Nice Bike! I especially like the Sintered metallic look you got on the Brake Discs! Very nice!

Beautiful job, as always, Steve - very well done!  The attention to detail is great and, as TB says, the metallic textures stand out - they bring it to life.

Vell, Zaphod's just zis guy, you know?

Wow! That turned out sweet! Ha, the swing arm looks like real aluminum. Great job!

Thanks for the kinds words guys. Didn't take too long for this build, about a week. Not really a bike person, this is only my second one..........but I find them starngely satisfying.

That is just the chromed finish that the part were supplied in, looked good so never bothered to strip it and redo.

Only 'attention to detail' in respect that I follow the instructions fully and paint exteremely carefully Stick out tongue..........except for my penchant to misread decaling instructions (2nd time I've done that recently !!!)
