It was for Beer now it's for Monster Energy drink.
As if rescued from a local scrap yard, the rear bed has new wood, but the cab, chassis and some of the chains are still a bit rusty.
Remember , common sense is not common.
Well I have to tell you - it looks a lot prettier than I expected! Still, the rust isn't very convincing, IMO. But thanks for sharing, it turned out really nice! Have a nice day

Ditto-What Pawel said. Tip.
Next time take a color like flat aluminum and paint the chrome things. All of them. A barn find like that would not have that shiny patina anywhere at this point! Plus the tyres would be a grungy grey brown all over, not looking like they jsut ran through fresh mud. Clean Build overall though. There Pat. I gave it to you like a contest judge would. You did do a nice job, but your weathering needs practice. Good of you for trying though!!
That's cool Pat - a new take on a old kit indeed. I built that and a bunch of other Tom Daniel kits way back. Well done.
Thanks,
John
On this side of the pond, Monster Energy is the title sponsor of NASCAR Cup's top tier stock car racing. Now you have a pace car.
Little too much mud for me, but nice work. As long as you're happy with it, that's all that counts.
Thanks guys for your comments/feedback I'll have to try some more ideas thanks for that.
Monster Energy to me is Valentino Rossi-MotoGP and the Hoonigan, Ken Block!
Love your take on this one!...its great to see one of these built!!
