I love the result that this came out with. The instrucions say to paint the part Semi Gloss black, but I was skeptical because on some models the Injection Plenum was red in color, and some Semi Gloss, but I did some research, and my mode, a 1996 Chevrolet Corvette Collector's Edition (AMT), has a red Injection Plenum. So, I decided to go with that.

On the photo, there were some white highlights on the Plenum:

So I drybrushed Tamiya White onto the raised surface, and this is how it turned out:

It turned out better than I expected, especially considering this is the first time I built a car model. Hopefully I would be done with the engine say a week later.
