1/43rd resin kit by Starter.
The interior is one chunk of resin except for the roll bar and steering wheel.  So painting it was fun.  Sprayed it white and hand painted the rest.  And I added a straight pin for the shifter.

The body wasn't a bad casting at all, but I spent a few hours scribing and cleaning it up to make it more uniform.

The wheels are a combination of machined and phot-etched brass with resin spacers.  The machined parts are plated, but not the best.
This issue is unfortunately somewhat common.  At least it can be easily hidden on non-open wheel cars…

I freehand brush painted the black trim and panel lines.

That looks like it would be a cool street car scheme.  Might have to think about adapting it to my white car…

Nice looking model.  Not many cars cooler than a 911.

Looking good.  Painting that one piece interior at that scale must have proved challenging.

Thanks,

John

Thanks guys!

The interior isn't really a challenge once you figure out the order to paint the details.

Plus some of it can't be seen once installed to the body, so no need to kill yourself with some of the undercut details.

All the decals are on it…  No complaints especially considering how old they are.

Thanks Brandon!

I'm calling it done.

Fun little project, maybe not the most accurate representation of the car, but it looks good in my collection.
