MPC Wild Ones 2

Another mash up. Bought this kit with more missing than the previous one (still can't find a whole one) No Running Boards/Fenders, Radiator grill and chrome Stingray bike. At least the 'Dude' is in one piece. Added front grill, flip flops and tattoo for the 'Dude'. Also wheels/tyres from spares box and roof rack.

Oh and the rear door drops down.

Way to go Pat!!!!!!!!! That looks great!

I wouldn't mind driving a 1/1 like that.

Cheers Jim. Yes it's strange when you open a box that comes as 'already used' to see how much or more importantly how little there is in there!

Well Pat, you just proved the old saying "Do the best you can with what you've got". But, you took it a few steps further. Toast Toast Toast

Thanks again Jim, it sometimes takes a while to dream up what to do with 'odd bits', but having shoe boxes full of spares, the creative juices lead you one way or the other.

Neat build Pat! I had that model when I was young. What was the original name of the model kit?

I think I built it around the same time as the Dragon Wagon.

Thanks DRUMS01. I don't know what the original kit was as we didn't get them here in the UK.

That Woody brings back memories.

I still have a load of bits from that old kit in my spares box. Keep thinking about rebuilding it one day. Seem to remember a pick up option in same box.

Great job! Yes

Love the look of the suspension and the 'donor' wheels!

Nice mash-up Pat.  Missed it the first time.  Perhaps this was the base kit?

Thanks,

John
