Aoshima Ogre AN-21

Fantasy F1!  I must find builds without such difficult paint schemes. Just added tyre decals 1/43rd fronts and 1/24th rears.

That's pretty cool Pat.  I dig the paint job!

Thanks,

Looking good, Pat! I've always thought the Cyber Formula cars were cool, but I've never pulled the trigger on the Aoshima kits. Was just looking at the Ogre last week while visiting a Hobbytown near the FSM offices. I may have to pick it up!

Neato, kind of like a futuristic Tyrrell P34.

Thanks Real G, just to think that a kit company would spend money producing a kit from a fantasy drawing!

Pat,

Actually, Cyber Formula is an anime series - I watched a bit at a hobby shop in Tokyo.  They seem to show that kind of stuff, as it definitely generates sales!

Yamashiro-Ya in Ueno was playing an iconic moment from Mobile Suit Gundam on their video monitor, and I slowly became aware that a small crowd had gathered around me, and we were all standing there gawking.

Thanks Real G. I've never heard of or seen what you are telling us. There are only a few films I've seen here in the UK by Hayao Miyazaki, like Porco Rosso and others of his.
